Corruption. Harassment. Wars. Shameful records. Bodies and desire locked away as state secrets. Then the erasure of memory. ULTRACORP bet the other way: preserve, beneath the layers, everything the power had buried. And hand the key to the citizens.
HEXpose is that key.

What the HEXpose artefact allows

Draw lines. Capture the zone. Let the glitch fall. Layer after layer, what was censored rises back to the surface until the full extraction of the data. Every decrypted archive is proof the regime did not erase everything.
The artefact circulates. The network antiquarians, the decryptors of the lower zones all of them reproduce today the gesture of ULTRACORP's operators.

HOW TO PLAY

Move across the encrypted grid. Draw a line, close it back on your path and capture the zone: the larger it is, the more of the picture is unveiled. But hunters patrol the revealed surface, drones hunt you down, and a Guardian a persistent, non-destructible sentinel watches to ensure nothing is extracted. Three attempts before session lockdown. Encircling is destroying. The map itself is your weapon.

Two protocols

• Reveal : decrypt the record from 80% to 100% for full extraction.
• Find : a precise piece of data hides within an extended scene. Locate it before time runs out a new variant on every attempt.

Extraction instruments
Time window, life re-injection, zone purge, speed overclock, shielded channel, experimental protocol. Across the revealed surface: neon, CRT scanlines and glitch — a tribute to the arcade halls the regime thought it had silenced.

WHAT THE BUREAU CANNOT CONFIRM
The content of the recovered records is adult. Some attest to saucy data confiscated from its owners; others mimic classified reports protocols, memos, surveillance files whose "CONFIDENTIAL" seal often concealed nothing but the regime's own prudishness. The Bureau advises caution when handling them. It cannot be held responsible for what your traces will reveal.
